Ingredients

    1 lb. Ground Chicken
    1 can sliced Water chestnuts
    1 tbsp. Fish Sauce
    1 tbsp. Hoisin Sauce
    1 tsp. Brown Sugar
    1-2 Jalapeno Peppers, sliced and seeded
    1 bunch of Thai Basil, use just the leaves
    6 cloves of Garlic, finely chopped
    2 large Shallots, finely chopped
    2 tbsp. Sesame Oil
    2 dashes of Ground White Pepper

Tips

I like to use this for lettuce wraps, I like Boston Bibb Lettuce


Directions

Heat the oil and add shallots and garlic. Cook until aromatic and add chicken. Cook until no longer pink and add jalapeno, water chestnuts, fish sauce, hoisin, and brown sugar. Cook for a couple of minutes and add Thai Basil. Just stir a couple of times until basil is wilted and remove from heat. Add 2 dashes of ground white pepper.

Serving Size: Makes 6 - 1 cup servings
