I use to love the flavored packaged rices, but hate all the things in them that are not good for you. This is my version of one of my favorites. Ingredients

2 cloves Garlic, crushed
1/2 cup Mushrooms, chopped
1 cup uncooked rice
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 dash Black Pepper
1 dash Salt
2 cups Water
Tips
Try adding different spices, herbs, or vegetables to your liking.
Directions
1. Saute garlic, mushrooms, salt and pepper in olive oil.
2. Add rice and stir until mushrooms are mixed throughout.
3. Add water and bring to boil.
4. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 min. or until done.
Serving Size: Makes 8 1/2-cup servings
