1 single frozen pie crust
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons splenda brown sugar
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
3 tablespoons splenda for baking
3 tablespoons egg substitute
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup semisweet or milk chocolate chocolate chips

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F and place rack in the lower third. Use 9" frozen pit cruse, leave in freezer until ready to fill.
2. Combine flour, salt, and baking soda; set aside. In the bowl of a mixer cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Mix in the egg and vanilla. Add flour mixture and blend until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Smooth into crust-lined pan.
3. Bake until pie is golden and center is just set but not overcooked, about 45 min. Cover with foil during the last 10 min to prevent overbrowning. Let pie cool almost completely and slice.
