Ingredients

    turkey
    vermicelli or spaghetti
    cream of mushroom soup
    milk
    pimentos
    mushrooms
    sherry
    parmesan cheese
    plain bread crumbs
    tabasco sauce(optional)
    Pepper to taste-= there is plenty of salt already

Tips

The tabasco is optional depending on your taste.
Low sodium low fat soup would help with the sodium number.
Can be made ahead and then heated before dinner= the cookng times may vary.
Can be made with chicken as well.


Directions

Preheat oven to 325.
1. Cook the pasta.
2. While the pasta is boiling heat the mushroom soup and milk.
3. Add Sherry to hot soup. cook a couple of minutes.
4. Add turkey, pimentoes,mushrooms, tabasco to taste.
5. Drain the pasta and put it in the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish. Pour the soup turkey mixture over the top.
6. Sprinkle a mixture of bread crumbs nd cheese over the top.
6. Put the casserole in the oven for 20-30 minutes until it is hot and cheese mixture has browned on the top.
Serve. Goes well with a tossed salad.
