Introduction

Okay, it doesn't taste like tuna fish, but it's a pretty good substitution for this vegan who loves tuna fish. Okay, it doesn't taste like tuna fish, but it's a pretty good substitution for this vegan who loves tuna fish.

Ingredients

    2 cans chick peas, drained and rinsed
    1/2 cup vegenaise
    2 stalks celery, finely chopped
    2 T finely chopped parsley
    1 cup walnut halves, chopped
    1 T yellow mustard
    1 medium red bell pepper, diced
    Salt, pepper to taste

Tips

It's a little dry. Some people may want to add more mayonnaise. It tastes fine to me and I didn't want to add the extra calories.


Directions

Mash chick peas by hand or in a food processor. Add all other ingredients to the mashed chick peas and mix well.
