Ingredients

I actually used 8 medium green chilies, roasted, peeled and chopped, which equalled about 2 cups of chilies.
Brown the pork with the onions. Add the garlic, chopped, and sauté until fragrant. Transfer to slow cooker. Chop the potato and tomatillos. Add them and the drained canned vegetables. Add one cup water. Stir, cook on medium at least six hours.
I have a small cooker which this recipe completely fills.
I flavor with ground cumin, dried oregano, black pepper and crushed hot red chilies to taste, adding a little at first and more later if needed. Careful with the cumin, it can overpower! Young children may not like the hot chilies, which may be omitted.

Directions

Cook 6 hours, but may be held for longer. This freezes well, too.
