Ingredients

1 T canola oil
3 garlic cloves, chopped
1 lb stewing beef, 1/2" cubes
1 md yellow onion, chopped
1 C celery, chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, choped
1 red shepherd or 1/2 red bell peper, chopped
1 pk Old El Paso chili seasoning
1 cn mushroom stems and pieces, partly drained
1 cn Heinz chili style kidney beans
1 cn diced tomatoes
Tips
Great with a dollop of fat free sour cream.
Directions
Heat oil in wok or dutch oven. Add garlic and let brown. Stir in beef and cook until browned. Add onions and celery. Cook just until onions are translucent.
Add mushrooms with about 1/2 the packing water and chili mix. Let cook about 5 minutes.
Add chili beans, peppers and tomatoes. Let simmer until thick.
