Introduction

Chili is very different between North and South. Most Southern Chilis do not have any vegetables in them and they are much spicer. This is my Husband's recipe taken from my mother. I'm not 100% sure of the exact amount of the ingredients. This can also be eaten with an extra dollop of Daisy sour cream and cheese. Chili is very different between North and South. Ingredients

    Tomato Paste, 2 can (6 oz)
    *Hunt's Stewed Tomato's, 6 serving
    Beans, red kidney, 4 cup
    Ground beef, lean, 32 oz
    Celery, raw, 6 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long)
    *Bell Pepper - Green - 1 large (164 grams), 328 gram
    Water, bottled, 1 serving
    *Condiments: Tobasco Sauce (McIlhenny), 3 tsp
    *chilli pepper or crushed pepper, 3 tsp
    *Crushed Black Pepper, 1 tbsp

Tips

This can be done on the stove in a pinch to make it a faster cook time.


Directions

Brown meat first in a skillet. Add all ingredients to a slow cooker and set timer for 1-3 hours. The longer you let it cook the better it taste.
