Ingredients

    1/2 c butter or margarine (calories and fat based on margarine)
    1/2 c milk, nonfat
    2 eggs
    3 mashed bananas, medium
    1 cup granulated sugar
    2.5 cups white flour
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/4 tsp salt

Tips

Add one teaspoon of vanilla for a little extra flavor.


Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare two 4 by 8 loaf pans
Cream the sugar, margarine, milk, eggs and mashed bananas. In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients. Add to wet ingredients and stir. Do not over stir. Batter will be lumpy in appearance. Divide between pans and bake one hour. Bread is done when a toothpick inserted in each comes out clean.

Serving Size: Makes 32 1/2 inch slices from 2 medium loaves
