Ingredients

    4 cups fresh basil leaves
    1 cup grated parmesan cheese
    6 cloves of garlic
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp pepper
    1/2 cup olive oil

Tips

Lemon Basil makes a great pesto to top seafood and chicken too! Store in the fridge for one week or freeze in an ice cube tray and store for up to 3 months.


Directions

Combine basil, parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper in a food processor -- pulsing to start combining the ingredients. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil until you have a smooth consistency.

Serving Size: Freeze in an ice cube tray (24 cubes) 1 cube = 1 serving
