Introduction

This is the almond joy bark from The Plan. This is the almond joy bark from The Plan.
Number of Servings: 40

Ingredients

2 bags dark chocolate chips (calculated with Nestle special dark)
    4 Tbsp coconut oil
    1 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
    1/2 cup sliced almonds

Tips

You can change things up by replacing the coconut with other things such as dried fruit. It's great with dried cherries! Add some extra flavor using vanilla extract or orange extract.

Directions

Place wax paper or parchment into a long jelly roll pan. Melt chocolate and coconut oil in a double boiler or microwave. Pour the mixture into the pan, smoothing it out as you go. Sprinkle coconut and almonds evenly over the top. Place the pan in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or until set.

Pull out and slice or break into small pieces. I use a pizza cutter to slice it into approximately 40 1 inch pieces.

Serving Size: Makes about 40 one-inch pieces.

Number of Servings: 40
