Ingredients

    1 1/2 C sweetened shredded coconut
    1 15 oz can crushed pineapple in natural juice
    4 med bananas
    4 med delicious apples peeled
    1 jar maraschino cherries halved
    1 C sugar

Tips

sugar pulls juice from fruit and gives a natural liquid to keep fruit from turning brown
sugar can be added to taste


Directions

empty pineapple into a large bowl
peel bananas and split lengthwise following natural divide
cut bananas into 1/2 slices and mix with pineapple to stop browning
peel apples and cut into 1/2 inch chunks, mix with pineapple mixture to stop browning
drain cherries and cut in half adding to mixture
add 1 C granulated sugar
mix carefully to not break up fruit
cover, refrigerate and let set 24 hours before serving
