Introduction

Modified from the Crockpot 365 blog. Modified from the Crockpot 365 blog.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

Yellow Sweet Corn, Frozen, 2 cup kernels
    Beans, black, 2 cup
    Chicken, 1.5 lbs, uncooked
Yellow Peppers (bell peppers), 2 peppers, chopped
*Swanson Natural Goodness Chicken Broth, 5 cup
    Kale, 8 oz., chopped
*Trader Joe's crushed garlic, 4 tsp
*Figaro Hickory Liquid Smoke (1 tbsp)

Tips

It is possible (and delicious!) to substitute spinach for kale and turkey for chicken, depending on what you have on hand. You can also use frozen spinach or kale; just reduce the chicken broth by about a cup.

We like to serve it with crescent rolls or nice crusty bread.

Directions

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker; cook on low for 8 hours.

Serving Size: Makes 8 approx. 2 cup servings!
