Introduction

Made with half and half, this is a rich and creamy hot chocolate. While containing fewer carbs than cocoa made with milk, it is still very much an indulgence, and should be an occasional treat as opposed to a regularly consumed beverage. Tips

Most hot chocolate recipes I've seen call for equal parts cocoa and sweetener. I used Splenda for this, and as I find Splenda to be sweeter than sugar, I reduced the amount used. For further calorie reduction, you can use 3/4 cup of half & half and 1/4 of water.

Directions

Pour cream into saucepan, whisk in cocoa and sweetener, and warm over medium heat to desired temperature.
