Ingredients

    House Foods - Tofu Shirataki - Fettuccine 4 packages
    *Hunt's Crushed Tomatoes 28 oz
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Anchovy (anchovies), 6 anchovy
    3 tbsp soy sauce
    Jennie-O Turkey Store Sausage Turkey Italian Sweet
    Tomato Paste, 1 can (6 oz)
    White Wine, 4 fl oz
    dried oregano
    fresh parsley chopped
    fresh basil 1/2 cup chopped
    Parmesean. 2tsp per serving

Tips

Shirataki noodles are a unique food and require a little prep. Read directions on package.
Anchovies are optional but really kick up the taste. They do not add any fishy taste, but a true umami flavor.


Directions

Over medium low heat, saute onion in oil until translucent. Add anchovies and tomato paste and stir for 2 minutes. Add garlic and oregano and stir for 30 sec. Then add wine and soy sauce, allow to almost entirely evaporate. Then add crushed tomatoes and sausages. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes to 1 hour. The longer the tastier it gets. (Can be cooked in crockpot for the day). Finish with parsley and basil just before serving. Prepare noodles according to package, and then cook in sauce for 5 minutes so they absorb the flavors. Top with parmsean.

Be sure to simmer noodles in sauce for 10 minutes before serving
