Introduction

A combination of recipes found on Pinterest I also added 1 TBS lipton onion soup mix but I could not find plain onion soup mix in the database
I have to cook my onions first before adding them to any soups, stews, casseroles etc, if not they will turn sour when cooking.

Ingredients

    1 LARGE onion could NOT FIND PLAIN ONION IN THIS DATA BASE
    2 CUPS Mushrooms sliced
    1 package McCormick Cracked Peppercorn Gravy Mix for Steak
    2 cups boiling Water
    3 cloves Garlic, chopped
    1 TBS*Canola Oil
    1 lb Beef bottom round

Directions

Mix boiling water with package of cracked peppercorn gravy and 1 or 2 TBS dried onion soup mix, mix well until dissolved. Set Aside

Slice onions into thick slices, slice mushrooms, chop garlic. Add onions add garlic to skillet with 1 TBS canola oil, cook until onions are translucent, add mushrooms, saute until almost done.

Put meat in bottom of crock pot, top with onions, mushrooms and garlic. Pour sauce mix over the top and cook on low for 6-7 hours.

Serving Size: 3 ozs meat per serving, 1/2 cup sauce, I'm guessing 4-ish servings
