Ingredients

    1 green pepper (seeds removed)
    1 1/2 chicken breasts *chopped or shredded
    6 carrots
    8 cups water
    3 tomatoes
    2 potatoes
    3 celery sticks
    1 tsp pepper
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp sage
    1/2 tsp chili powder
    1 cup corn
    1 chopped onion
    1 8 oz can kroger tomato sauce
    1 tsp thyme

Tips

Skip the chicken breast for a vegetarian version. Lima beans also make a great addition to this!


Directions

Put 8 cups water and chicken in slow cooker. Chop veggies to desired size and add to the water. Add seasonings and tomato sauce. Stir well, replace lid, and let cook on high for 3-4 hours. Check to make sure chicken is fully cooked before serving. serves about 14
