Ingredients

    Ground Beef 93% Lean, 32 oz
    Bread crumbs, dry, grated, seasoned, .25 cup
    Egg, fresh, whole, raw, 1 large
    Salt, 1 tsp
    Pepper, black, 1 tsp
    Garlic powder, 1 tsp

    Cooked Onion, 1 cup
    Mushrooms, fresh, 2 cup, pieces or slices

    Broth, chicken: College Inn, Light & Fat Free, 50% less Sodium, Chicken Broth, 1 cup/serv, 2 serving

    Corn Starch, 15 grams

Directions

Combine first six ingredients, shape into 8, 40z. patties. Sautee the onion and mushrooms until just soft, remove from pan. Brown the both sides of the beef patties on medium high. Return the onion and mushrooms to the pan and add the chicken broth. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. If you want to thicken the sauce to gravy, remove the patties, onions and mushrooms to a serving dish. Turn broth temp up to high. Take 2 tablespoons of broth and combine with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, pour mixture into the pan and stir until thickened.
