Ingredients

    *Pork, fresh, shoulder, arm picnic, separable lean and fat, raw, 2 lb (remove)
    *Smuckers Peach Preserve, 4 tbsp (remove)
    Gulden's Brown and Spicy Mustard, 2 tsp (remove)
    *Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar, 4 tbsp (remove)
    Motts Natural Applesauce (1/2 cup), 2 serving (remove)
    *Lawry's Minced Onion (dried), 2 tsp (remove)
    *Crushed Red Pepper, 1 tsp (remove)
    Argo Cornstarch, 1.5 tbsp (remove)
    Water, tap, .25 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)

Tips

Always use cold water when making a slurry & add the water to the cornstarch, not the other way around. The slurry will thicken the sauce for a nice bit of gravy.


Directions

Put pork roast into slow cooker. Combine preserves, applesauce, mustard, onion, crushed red pepper, apple cider vinegar, salt & pepper in a bowl & pour over roast. Make a slurry of the cornstarch & water, pour over roast. Set the cooker for 8 hours & come home to an amazing smelling house & the main course of dinner ready!
