Ingredients

    One pound ground turkey
    1 4 oz can diced green chilies
    2 oz pepper jack cheese (or other cheese)
    2-3 green onions
    1 tsp cumin
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 tsp salt

    Buns
    tomatoes (optional)
    avocados (optional)

Tips

I would not recommend cooking this on an outdoor grill. The patties are "goopey" and fall apart fairly easily. This might be remedied with bread crumbs, but I haven't tried.


Directions

Dice green onions. I find it's easiest to do this with scissors straight into the bowl. Add turkey, chilies, cheese, and spices. Mix with hands until ingredients are evenly distributed, and form into four equal sized patties.

Cook on stove top or small counter grill until fully cooked throughout. Serve on buns with desired condiments.
