    Old Fashioned Quaker Oatmeal- Plain, 1/2 cup dry
    Flour, white, 1 cup
    Unsweetened Shred Coconut, 3/4 cup
    Granulated Sugar, 1/8 cup
    Baking Soda, 1 tsp
    Salt, 1/4 tsp
    Vegetable Oil, 3/8 cup
    Honey, 3/8 cup
    1 Egg
    Light Corn Syrup, 1/8 cup
    Almonds - sliced, 1/2 cup


Don't like almonds? Try: pecans, chocolate chips, raisins (gag), dried cranberries, peanut butter.


1) Mix dry ingredients first, then add the rest.
2) Mix thoroughly (kneading by hand is best)
3) Grease 9x12 pan (or line with bakers paper/foil
4) Smoosh the dough until it covers the bottom completely.
5) Bake for 15 minutes @ 375F
6) Cut into 12 slices or eat the entire thing out of the pan while hot.
