Introduction
Replacement for those tortilla cravings. Replacement for those tortilla cravings.Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients
-
One medium head of cauliflower
4 Extra Large eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
other spices.
Tips
Can be refrigerated and reheated.
Directions
Break cauliflower down into florets. In food processor cut them down into the consistency of sand like granules. You want them to become the 'flour' of the mix.
Add them to a steamer basket and steam them for about 8 minutes.
After steaming pull them out and allow them to cool down enough to handle.
After they have cooled enough place them in a nut milk bag, cheese cloth, a tea towel, or anything you can use to strain them.
Strain as much liquid as humanly possible from the mash. This makes or breaks the wraps.
After straining excess liquid from them place into bowl; add eggs, salt, and spices. Preheat oven to 375º
Mix ingredients together, it will look something like pancake batter at this time.
With a spoon pour out onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper. This recipe makes six wraps. You don't want it to be so thin you can see the baking sheet underneath it. Place baking sheets into oven, and bake for 17 minutes. Once that time it done take wraps out and flip them over to bake for an additional 2 minutes to crisp up the other side a bit.
