Introduction

A rich sandwich or salad addition but packed with flavor. Use sparingly if you're watching the calories. The relish is nice and spicy and has no HFCS. If you like a little heat in your pickle relish this is the pickle for you. In the recipe it usually doesn't have too much heat for your kids to share this with you. Straightforward preparation. Chop up your turkey to desired fineness and stir it all together. You could add diced candied ginger, water chestnuts, chopped up celery, green onion, and even grapes or apple if you want more variety. A rich sandwich or salad addition but packed with flavor. Ingredients

2 to 3 cups of cooked, cooled white meat turkey breast, or substitute chicken or ham; chop or dice this to your preferred size and texture of pieces.
1/3 cup mayonaisse, your preferred brand
    1-1/2 T your preferred mustard
1/3 cup Famous Dave's Signature Spicy Pickle Relish (No HFCS! Almost all other sweet pickle relish has HFCS!)
Penzey's Sandwich Sprinkle to taste, up to 1 TSP, or use salt and pepper to taste

Consider adding diced candied ginger, celery, green onion, grapes, or apple.
Tortilla wrap or a fresh soft roll, or add a scoop to your green salad for a protein/flavor/fat kick.

Tips

Cooking time doesn't include roasting/cooling the turkey meat. I devised this recipe myself as a breakfast food as I don't like most breakfast fare.

Directions

Dice your cooked, cooled turkey breast meat and stir in all other ingredients. Consider adding diced candied ginger, celery, green onion, grapes, or apple. This goes nicely on a tortilla wrap or a fresh soft roll, with V-8 juice on the side maybe, for lunch.

Serving Size: Makes a bit less than a quart of turkey salad.
