Ingredients

    2 pounds of chicken breast sliced up into strips
    One cup flour
    1 cup water, ice cold
    1/8 tsp baking soda
    1/8 teaspoon baking powder
    3 cups Kikkoman Panko
    Canola Oil for cooking

Tips

Be sure to use ice cold water. I used 1/2 cup oil for the nutrition guidelines for the whole recipe.


Directions

Prepare Tempura Batter by mixing the flour, water, baking soda, and baking powder together in a dredging bowl.
Put Panko in a separate dredging bowl.
Bridge chicken through temper about it and then Panko and place on a plate.
Fry in oil until golden brown.
Remove from pan and drain on paper towel covered plate.

Serving Size: Makes 8 servings.
