Introduction

I love the Red Robin version, so tried this lower-fat/cal version (Red Robin version is 900 cal and 47g fat!!). You could even lower the calories even more by eating only half of the bun and leaving off cheese. Either way, have a napkin ready.... Ingredients

    Per Serving:
1 Boneless, Skinless Chicken breast half (4 oz)
2 Tbsp Kikoman Teriyaki Sauce, divided
1 Slice Pineapple (I used canned)
    1 slice Red Onion
1 slice Kraft Swiss Cheese 2% milk Singles
1 svg. Canola Oil Cooking Spray (1 sec spray)
    1 Wonder-Light Hamburger Bun
    Lettuce & tomato

Directions

Best on the grill, but you can broil in oven if necessary. Cook chicken breast over med-high coals for about 5 minutes on first side, flip and put 1/2 Tbsp teriyaki sauce on cooked side. Cook for another 5 minutes, flip, put 1/2 Tbsp teriyaki sauce on that side. Cook for 1-2 minutes more on each side until juices run clear and teriyaki is cooked onto meat.

Meanwhile, cook pineapple slices on grill just long enough to warm it through and add grill marks. Spray cut-side of bun with cooking spray and place spray-side down on grill just until it starts to brown.

To assemble: place onion slice on bottom bun, then chicken topped with remaining 1 Tbsp teriyaki sauce, swiss cheese, pineapple, tomato slice, and lettuce. Place top bun on sandwich and enjoy!

I made this for dinner tonight, it was good! I realized too late though, that I was all out of teriyaki sauce, so I used some Asian Sesame dressing instead. I also had mine on a whole wheat bun, and I made this in my George Foreman grill. - 8/23/10
