Introduction

Number of Servings: 120

Ingredients

    3 eggs
    2 sticks of butter
    3 cups of sugar
    1 Tbsp Vanilla extract
    1/2 cup low fat buttermilk
    1 tsp baking soda
    3 sifters full of flour about 3 1/2 cups per sifter

Tips

If you over bake them they will get hard quickly so be careful not to overbake.


Directions

cream together eggs, sugar, vanilla and butter in a mixing bowl. In another bowl dissolve buttermilk and baking soda until foamy. mix in with cream mixture. In very large bowl put your flour after sifting and make a well in the middle. Pour cream mixture in and knead together until crumbly. Work it into a rollable dough. Using a lightly floured board, roll out dough and cut. Place the cookies on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for about 6 minutes or until light golden.
