Introduction

A real treat! Serve as a sauce over pasta (mac and cheese!), vegetables or potatoes. May also be used as a dip.
I adapted this recipe from one of Paul Nison's recipes.

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1/2c cashews
    1/2c sunflower seeds
    1 medium red bell pepper (approx 100g)
    2T nutritional yeast flakes
    2T fresh squeezed lemon juice
    2T tahini
    1 1/2t salt
    1 garlic clove, pressed or crushed
    2t onion granules
    enough water to blend to desired consistency (approx 1/4c)

Directions

Blend all till smooth and creamy. Do not heat.

This is better when eaten right away but you may store leftovers in the refrigerator.

Serving Size: Makes about 2 cups (six - 1/3c servings)
