Introduction

Ingredients

    4 oz Fresh Figs
    1 tsp Lemon Zest
    .25 cup Lemon Juice

    .25 cup Rice Vinegar
    1 Tbs Garlic Chile Sauce
    1 Tbs Soy Sauce

    2 lb Pork Sirloin Tip Roast
    .25 tsp Salt
    .25 tsp Black Pepper

Directions

Wash Figs, remove stems, and cut into quarters.

Start charcoal

Place Figs, Lemon Zest, and Lemon Juice in small saucepan. Bring to a boil and reduce to medium low. Simmer,crushing fruit as you stir occasionally until mixture thickened, about 30 minutes. Remove from heat.

Add Rice Vinegar, Garlic Chile Sauce, and Soy Sauce to fig mixture. Use food processor or blender to combine until smooth.

Grill should be at medium-high heat.

Cut Roast in half length-wise and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Place meat on grill rack and cook, brushing with glaze frequently and turning occasionally until thermometer registers 160F, about 20 minutes.
