Ingredients
-
Ice cream base:
- 1 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
Chocolate mix
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions
Pour your heavy whipping cream into the bowl and mix in med-high speed till stiff peeks.
While the cream is whipping heat a sauce pan over low-medium heat, add chocolate chips and heavy cream. Let the chips melt down and gradually add in 3 eggs (slowly!) while mixing quickly. You don't want them to mix in thoroughly. Turn off the heat and mix in vanilla and set chocolate mix aside to cool (about 20-25 minutes). Once mixture is cool pour the chocolate mix and sweetened condensed milk into the whipped cream.
