When stirring hotdish, add more water a few tablespoons at a time if it seems too thick. Different rices require different amounts of water.
We like spicy food in our house, but the cayenne might be a little much for people who don't care for spicy. Omitting the cayenne won't affect the flavor, but it will virtually eliminate the heat.

Directions

Dice peppers (wear gloves when handling jalapenos). Heat olive oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add peppers and cook for 10 minutes. While peppers are cooking, dice onion. Add onion to peppers and cook for until almost translucent. Add garlic to pan and cook for 5 minutes. Add hamburger to pan and cook until it starts to brown. Add oregano, black pepper, seasoned salt and basil to hamburger and cook until browned.

In a large bowl, whisk together spaghetti sauce, water, Worcestershire sauce, rice, white pepper, cayenne pepper, paprika and thyme. Add browned hamburger mixture and stir well.

Pour into a glass 9x13 baking pan that has been sprayed with pan spray. Cover with foil and bake at 325 for 60 minutes or until rice is fully cooked. Stir every 30 minutes while baking.
