Ingredients

    3 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast
    1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    ½ cup onion, finely chopped
    2” knob of ginger, grated (or 1 tsp ginger powder)
    1 TBSP 5-spice powder
    1 TBSP dried cilantro (or ¼ cup fresh cilantro)
    dash or two of salt and pepper

Tips

Calorie Count includes 1/2 cup rice per serving.


Directions

1. Place the chicken in the crock pot.
2. Pour the broth over it.
3. Sprinkle with the garlic and onion.
4. Grate the ginger right on top.
5. Sprinkle with seasonings.
6. Cook on High for 4 hours, or until the juices run clear.

Recommended to serve over rice.
