0.33 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
16 oz, boneless Squid, raw
0.33 cup Cornstarch
1 tbsp Olive Oil
0.5 tsp Curry powder
The spices can be altered, both in kind and in amount, to taste
The cooking time for each batch is 7 min., then shake to get all sides crisp (14 min.per batch). The full pound was divided into 3 batches.
Another approach would be to do about 8 min. per batch, (24 min.) setting them aside, then placing all together in the air fryer for another 8 or 9 min. to complete. (32 or 33 min. total)
cut the bodies of the squid into rings
mix rest of cornstarch with oil, water,curry powder, whisk until smooth.
place squid into cornstarch mixture.
place portions into basket of air fryer, which has been sprayed with Pam.
set timer for 5 minutes, shake basket, turn pieces over, set for another 5 minutes
repeat for remaining batches
