Introduction

This has a very subtle curry flavour and is really tasty! This has a very subtle curry flavour and is really tasty!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 lb stew beef
    200 g onion
    200 g carrot
    200 g cauliflower
    500 g potatoes peeled and diced
    3 cloves garlic
    4 tbsp oil
    2 x pinch chilli powder
    3 tbsp tomato puree
    2 tbsp curry powder
    1.5 pt beef stock (4 oxo)
    pinch of flour seasoned


Directions

Heat 3 tbsp oil and fry off onion and garlic. Put aside into slow cooker. Toss the beef in the seasoned flower and brown adding the remaining oil to the pan. Once this is browned add to the slow cooker. Then cook veg and potatoe for about two minutes. Add the stock and all other ingredients and bring to the boil. then add everything to the slow cooker, mixing everything up so it is evenly distributed. Cook on low for around 4 hours.
