Low-carb, breadless tuna melts stuffed inside of a tomato and topped with bubbling cheese.

Low-carb, breadless tuna melts stuffed inside of a tomato and topped with bubbling cheese.

Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    2 medium-large tomatoes
    1 6oz. Can of Tuna in Water (no salt added)
    2 Tbsp. Hellman's Olive Oil Mayo
    1 Tbsp Chopped Fresh Basil
    2 Tbsp Chopped Red Onion
    Salt and Pepper to taste
    2 slices American Cheese (or cheese of choice)

Directions

~ Cut the tops off the tomatoes and scoop out 'guts' - discard.

~ Drain tuna, mix with mayo, onion and seasoning.

~ Lightly stuff tomato cups with tuna mixture, lay 1 slice of cheese over each up.

~ Broil in oven for 3 minutes until tops begin to brown.
