Introduction

This smoothie uses Puritan's Pride soy isolate protein powder, which is naturally sweet, so there is no sweetener required, nonfat cottage cheese, ground flax meal, frozen unsweetened strawberries and enough cold, bottled water for the consistency you like. You can substitute nonfat yogurt for the cottage cheese, and any frozen fruit for the strawberries. Add enough cold bottled water to give it a consistency that you enjoy. I use 12-14 oz.

The calories and fat are minimal in this smoothie, so I generally drink the entire amount for breakfast. It generally makes 18 to 20 ounces, depending on how much water you use.
