Ingredients

    Butterball Turkey Bacon (1 slice), 8 serving
    Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce - La Costena, .75 oz
    Lime Juice, .5 lime yields
    Black Beans - canned - 2 cans (about 15.5 oz each can)
    Garlic, 2 clove
    Chili powder, 1 tsp
    Cumin .5 tsp
    Salt, 1 tsp
    Water, .5 cup
    Stevia in the Raw, .5 serving

Tips

These are very flavorful and can be a bit salty for some. Cut salt entirely if you are on a low sodium diet and they still taste great.


Directions

Cook turkey bacon (sliced into bite size pieces or smaller) and chipotle peppers in adobo until bacon is cooked through & juices collect in pot. Add black beans, spices, and garlic. Cook on medium for a few minutes. It will look dry. Add water and cook on low for 15-20 minutes. Add lime juice and stir well. Take off of heat and let set with lid on for 5 minutes or longer to let flavors combine. Stir again & serve.
