Introduction
My version of a combination Panera's Broccoli Cheese Soup and a Corn Chowder My version of a combination Panera's Broccoli Cheese Soup and a Corn ChowderNumber of Servings: 10
Ingredients

3 tbsp white flour
3 tbsp butter
2 cups Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 cup Colby and Montery Jack Shredded Cheese
2 cups Swanson Chicken Broth
3 cups Broccoli
3 ears medium corn
1/4 cup chopped red onion
1/2 yellow bell peopper
1 med red pepper
10 baby carrots
1 cup 2% milk
1 tsp of Lawry's Garlic Salt (or to taste)
Tips
I've also made with soy milk instead of 2% milk.
Directions
Directions for Microwave - time above is approximate
Melt butter stir in flour until creamy smooth.
Gradually add in milk, making sure there are no lumps and it is smooth.
Add in cheese stirring until very smooth
Microwave for about 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted.
Set aside
Chop up all vegetables and mix together. Add in chicken broth and microwave for about 15-20 minutes - veggies still have slight crunch.
Add in white sauce with cheese, mix thoroughly, and cook for about another 5 minutes.
Serve in bread bowl or regular bowl.
Serving Size: Makes approximately 10 1-cup servings
