Introduction

Little ground beef and cabbage sandwiches. Little ground beef and cabbage sandwiches.
Number of Servings: 30

Ingredients

    2 lbs ground beef
    1/2 head of cabbage
    1 onion
    1 can med black olives
    1 tbs garlic salt
    1/2 tsp paprika
    1/2 tsp chili powder
    15 slices of Swiss Cheese
    30 dinner rolls frozen dough
    2 egg whites (to brush the top of each roll).

Directions

Chop the onions and shred the cabbage then brown the ground beef, onions, and cabbage. Once the ground beef is browned, stir in a can of chopped olives and set mixture aside. The frozen dinner roll dough should be allowed to rise according to package instructions. Flour a counter or cutting board and role each dinner roll flat in a 6 inch circle. Place 1/2 slice of cheese on the roll, spoon ground beef mixture into center of roll then fold and seal the roll around the filling. Place folded seem side down on parchment paper lined cookie sheet about an inch apart. Brush the top of each roll with egg white. Once cookie sheet is full, bake for 40 minutes at 350. Remove the sheet when the rolls are browned. Let cool for 15 minutes in covered basket and serve.
