Introduction

Will need a glass blender and whole wheat kernels Will need a glass blender and whole wheat kernels
Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    1 1/2 C almond Milk, 60 cal/cup
    1 egg, large
    1 T splenda
    1/3 C applesauce, unsweetened
    1 1/2 T baking Powder
    1/2 t salt
    6.5 oz wheat kernels

Tips

use non-stick griddle and cooking spray
cooking time depends on size of griddle (we do 5 at a time)


Directions

put wheat kernels with 1 C of milk in blender
blend on high for 2 min
add remainder of milk, blend for 2 more min
add everything but baking powder, blend until mixed
now add baking powder and blend just until mixed. Cook immediately after adding baking powder.
Use 1/4 C measure for 1 pancake

Serving Size: makes (15) 1/4 C pancakes
