Introduction
With a little extra "oomph" from maca powder and chickpea flour, these moist and spicy bars are laced with Goldschläger, studded with raisins and taste like a better (and boozier) snickerdoodle! Ingredients

½ cup salted butter, melted
1 ½ tbsp cinnamon
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp Goldschläger (or other cinnamon schnapps)
¾ cup lightly packed dark brown sugar
1 egg
3 tbsp non-fat Greek yoghurt
1 tbsp vanilla
pinch Kosher salt
¾ cup spelt flour
¼ cup chickpea flour
¼ tsp baking powder
2 tbsp maca powder
½ cup sultana raisins
Directions
Heat oven to 350F and line an 8” or 9" square pan with parchment paper.
Whisk together the butter, cinnamon, honey, Goldschläger and brown sugar.
Add egg, yoghurt, vanilla and salt, blending well.
Add the flours, baking powder and maca powder, blending to incorporate well.
Fold in the raisins.
Scrape into the pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 25 minutes. Cool completely on a rack before cutting.
Serving Size: Makes one 9" pan, 16 pieces
