Introduction

Ingredients

    10 whole wheat lasgne noodles
    6 oz. lean ground beef, browned
    1 bottle of spaghetti sauce
    1 16 oz. container cottage cheese
    2 cups grated mozzarella -part skim
    2 cups fresh spinach
    1 1/2 cups water

Directions

Layering goes 5 noodles (uncooked), half a bottle of spaghetti sauce, half of browned ground beef, half of your spinach leaves, 3/4 cup water, 1 cup cottage cheese, 1 cup mozzarella,
Then repeat.
Note on the spinach, you can chop it in the blender or food processor and add it to the spaghetti sauce.
Bake on 400 degrees for 40-50 minutes, until desired browning.
You can make and bake that day or...
Great for freezing ahead of time. Get it out the morning you want it for dinner and then it will be ready to cook when you get home!

    I made this for a bachelor friend, and stored it in single serving containers for him to freeze and reheat (since he lives alone and doesn't cook much). But I kept some for myself, too -- yummy! (Note: unlike RUNNINGSARA10, I didn't have any problem with it being runny.) - 12/29/09
