Introduction

Low Carb, less fat version of stuffed mushrooms Low Carb, less fat version of stuffed mushrooms
Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    9 large mushrooms
    2 slices Sharp cheddar cheese slice
    3 slices turkey bacon
    1/4 cup crumbled cooked pork sausage
    1 tsp garlic
    1/4 cup italian bread crumbs

Directions

Cook and drain sausage and bacon. When cool, chop into small pieces.
Pull out stems of mushrooms and chop stem piece finely.
Place mushroom heads into lightly sprayed 8x8 glass dish. (or on other cooking pan with edges).
Mix all ingredients together until evenly mixed. Stuff Mushroom heads and let extra stuffing fall around.
Bake 375° for 30 minutes.

Serving Size: makes 9 mushrooms (3 per serving)
