Ingredients

1 head of cabbage chopped in quarters
    2 potato chopped
    5 medium carrots chopped
    1 medium onion quartered
2 medium or small zucchini squash
1 whole lime not peeled quartered
4 lean turkey Italian sausage cut into small pieces

Tips

I would recommend you start the vegetables the night before then add the sausage to it in the morning and it will be ready to eat when the kids get out of school

Directions

if you have a crock pot pull it out fill the pot with 8 cups of water, chop vegetables and potatoes add the dill garlic and seasoning to your preference, I love using the lime it adds a wonderful compliment to the sausage you just quarter it and then throw it in with the rest of the vegetables, after about 5 hours of the vegetable on simmer or low, peel the casing off the sausage and cut each link in to 4 pieces each then add the sausage to your vegetables let simmer for another 5 to 6 hours and serve hot.
