Ingredients

    1/2 Tbsp Nut Oil or Butter
    1/2 cup steel cut oats
    1-1/2 cups water
    1/4 cup low-fat Goat Milk
    1/4 cup low-fat Buttermilk+1.5 tsp to top
    2 tsp Splenda Brown Sugar (or to taste)
    1/8 tsp to 1 tsp Cinnamon (or to taste, or other spices- Pumpkin Pie Spice is great!)
    1 cup Blueberries, divided


Directions

In large saucepan, heat oil (butter if desired) on medium heat and add oats. Stir for 2 minutes to toast. Drop heat to low and add the boiling water and adjust heat to maintain a simmer. Keep at a low simmer for 18-25 minutes, without stirring until water almost absorbed.

Stir in the cinnamon gently, then both milks to the oatmeal. Cook for an additional 8-10 minutes. Add fruit just before serving and top with brown sugar and if desired touch of buttermilk.
