Introduction

Ingredients

    2 tbsp Basil
    6 cup Spaghetti, cooked without added salt (pasta)
    1 tbsp Chef Cuisine Minced Garlic (Ajo) 1 Tbsp (5g)
    4 serving Tomatoes, Roma, Fresh, 1 Med
    2 serving Large Portabella Mushroom Cap
    5 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Tips

The one cup servings also create a way to prepackage lunches for the week as well.


Directions

Prepare a medium skillet with three tablespoons of olive oil. Slice roma tomatoes and place in skillet. sauté for five minutes, reduce heat to low and simmer for five minutes. Continue until super soft and creating a sauce. Slice then dice mushroom caps and add with the garlic and one tablespoon of olive oil to skillet. Add basil then salt and pepper if you like. Simmer for about 15 minutes. In separate pot, place remaining olive oil and add water for pasta. Cook pasta as you normally would. Drain and set aside. Take one cup of pasta and add 1/2 cup of the marinara. Makes six servings.
