Ingredients

    1.75 cup Great Value Black Beans
    2 cup Chef's Cupboard Chicken Broth (by SLIMKARRIE)
    1 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    1 clove Garlic
    1 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, raw
    2 medium Carrots, raw
    16 tbsp Casa Mamita "all natural" chunky salsa med (by EZUKOW)
    1 tbsp *McCormick ground cumin (by CHGOMOMMA)
    1 tbsp Chili powder
    1 tbsp Olive Oil

Tips

Watch out when you saute the cumin and chili powder!


Directions

saute onions in olive oil until tender
add garlic and celery and larger chunks of carrot continue to salute for a few minutes more
add cumin and chili powder saute for a minute (it will make you cough!)
add broth, salsa, & beans (unrinsed-include broth from can)
simmer about 30 minutes
serve
