These are great on a whole wheat bun or simply served on a salad. These are great on a whole wheat bun or simply served on a salad.
Number of Servings: 4


    1 lb of Mahi Mahi fillets
    2 Tbs of minced cilantro
    2 Tbs of minced ginger
    2 Tbs of minced shallots
    2 tsp of soy sauce
    1 tsp of honey
    dash of pepper


With a large chef knife chop the fish using quick even straight up and down motions until you have a mass of 1/4 inch pieces.
Transfer to large bowl and gently stir in all ingredients except olive oil. Be careful not too overmix. Divide mixture into four patties 1 inch thick. Chill in refrigerator at least 20 min or up too 2 hours before cooking.
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add burgers and cook until brown on both side and just cooked through. 4-6 minutes total.
**Note this can also be prepared with Salmon or any other firm fish.
