Ingredients

    Beans, great northern, 2 cup (remove)
    Swanson Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free, 1 cup (remove)
    Ham, extra lean, (5% fat), 1 cup, diced (remove)
    Carrots, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced (remove)
    Curry powder, 1 tsp (remove)

Directions

Sort and Rinse 2 cups of dried beans. Great Northern or Navy.
Bring to a boil and boil 2 min. then let stand off heat for 1 hour.
After 1 hour simmer beans for 1.5 hrs.
Dice 1 cup of onions, one cup of carrots, one cup of celery, one cup of ham.
Add to Beans and cook an additional 30 min.

    This is great for the calorie count. I soaked the beans overnight, then covered with fresh water the next morning along with the other ingred. in the crockpot. Thanks! - 12/30/08
