Layered Salad w or w/o chicken Layered Salad w or w/o chickenNumber of Servings: 6
Ingredients
-
1- 10 oz bag finely shredded coleslaw
1 -10 oz bag mixed salad greens
1 lemon pepper roasting chicken, shredded
or use 2 -10 oz cans white meat chicken
1 can Mandarin orange slices, drained
1 c sunflower seeds, w or w/o salt
1 c almond slices, toasted
1 pkg Oriental flavor Ramen noodles with seasoning packet
1 c olive oil
1/2 c white vinegar
1/2 c sugar
Directions
Prepare the salad in a large bowl by creating layers. I usually put greens, chicken, almonds, cabbage, oranges, sunflower seeds, greens etc.
Making at least 2 layers of each. I don't think it really matters what order. The Ramen noodles get broken up on top of everything.
To make the dressing : Blend the oil, vinegar, sugar and Oriental seasoning packet into a blender for 2 min.
Place in a squirt bottle to serve.
Fabulous!
The original recipe I ate had equal amounts of oil, vinegar, and sugar. I adapted it to my taste and I'm sure you can too.
I got this recipe while at a bridal shower. I don't know where they got the recipe. I don't even know it's name. I made up a name for it.
