Introduction

This is a tuna casserole that is hot instead of cold! This is a tuna casserole that is hot instead of cold!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 cans of tuna
    Fat Free Mozzarella Cheese
    2 Small Cans of Green Peas
    4 Cups of Egg Noodles
    1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
    2 Cups of Bread Crumbs
    2 tbsp of Butter
    2 Eggs

Directions

Set oven to 400 degrees.

Cook egg noodles and drain.

Shred fat free mozzarella cheese if needed.

Beat eggs.

Combine tuna, cream of mushroom, salt and pepper to taste, 1/2 of bread crumbs, green peas, shredded mozzarella cheese, and eggs. Mix well.

Fold pasta into the tuna mix.

Sprinkle the rest of the bread crumbs on top of casserole. (Optional: Sprinkle parmesan cheese at top)

Grease a pan with melted butter. Put pasta mix into a glass pan.

Put into oven uncovered for 10 minutes or until slightly brown at top.

Take out the dish and cover. Turn oven to 350 degrees and cook for 30 minutes.

    I also added a .5 cup of Velveeta cheese. That makes it creamier plus a little different flavor. - 2/13/14

    I found the recipe hard to follow.(no amount for cheese) The bread crumbs didn't brown correctly and greasing the pan with butter didn't seem healthy. I won't make it again without modifying it. - 10/29/07
